Oakridge Academy & ECD is an independent co-ed primary and pre-primary school in Randburg: Grade 000 to Grade 7. We combine the official CAPS curriculum with IEB-aligned enrichment in Grade 6–7 to prepare learners for premier high schools. What are Grade 1 fees and what does the registration fee cover?
Grade 1 tuition is R5,900 per month (billed per term in advance or via 11-month debit order). A once-off registration fee of R3,500 secures your child’s placement upon acceptance. Aftercare is optional at R1,150 per month. Sibling discount of 10% applies to the second and subsequent children.
Does Oakridge Academy teach CAPS or IEB?
We follow the official South African CAPS curriculum. In Grade 6 and Grade 7, we introduce IEB-style benchmarking assessments in Mathematics and English to ensure learners excel when transitioning to IEB private high schools.
How does holiday club work and when is it open?
Our Holiday Club runs Monday to Friday 07:30 to 17:00 during all April, July, and September/October school holidays. It is available to both enrolled Oakridge learners and visiting siblings for R280 per day or R1,100 per week, inclusive of lunch and activities.
What extra-mural sports and cultural activities are included?
Core extra-murals included in school fees comprise swimming, mini-cricket, netball, soccer, choir, and drama. Private external offerings such as judo, ballet, and private piano are billed separately by accredited instructors.
